Personal attributes

We are looking for an excellent Leader of Maths with:
• a proven track record in raising pupil attainment at GCE and A Level;
• the ability to lead the strategic direction and development of an inspiring, cohesive
Maths curriculum in an all-through setting, building on the existing primary curriculum;
• the ability to lead on educational progress, achievement and enrichment experience of
all pupils across the school;
• very high expectations of what can be achieved;
• an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process;
• the skills to work successfully as part of a team establishing effective working relationships
and flexible working practices;
• experience of working in collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school
community;
• strong interpersonal skills;
• a calm, positive and inclusive approach to education.
