The Play Professionals Breakfast and After School Care
The Play Professionals provide before and after school care. To access their services your children will need to be registered, this can be done online here
The staff at The Play Professionals are familiar to us at Woodmansterne and they provide activities for children aged 3-11. A healthy breakfast, snacks and drinks are provided throughout each session. All The Play Professionals staff members undergo an enhanced DBS check and are fully qualified to professional national standards, increasing their ability to care and respond effectively to children’s changing needs.
Services:
- Breakfast Club: 7.45am - 9.00am
- After School Club: 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Prices:
- After School Club: £16.00 / After School Club Superheroes* £20.00
- Breakfast Club: £6.00 / Breakfast Club Superheroes* £8.00
*Superheroes places can be booked in an ad hoc way, up to 3pm on the day for After School Club and up to 4pm on the day before Breakfast Club.

As Superhero places are for emergency situations and ad hoc places The Play Professionals need to guarantee a degree of availability. In order to do this, they cap the regular service at a level that allows some flexibility for Superhero spaces.
Term Bookings: The Play Professionals booking-in period starts when bookings go live and goes until the second Friday of term.
- During booking-in period they require three days’ notice before a child can start.
- After booking-in period, they require one full weeks’ notice before a child can start.
For a booking to be confirmed and before a child can start, The Play Professionals must have received at least one payment instalment (by card or childcare voucher) or full payment and a payment schedule must be in place for the remaining fees.

The Play Professionals staff their services based on staffing ratios, the safe and sensible use of space through Risk Assessment and other factors that ensure that they can provide a service that meets quality standards.
